Dr. Neil M. Scheffler

Dr. Neil M. Scheffler enjoys a distinguished career in Podiatric Medicine.  In addition to being the co-author of the book “101 Tips On Foot Care For People With Diabetes”, published by the American Diabetes Association, he has written dozens of articles for both professional and lay publications and has lectured extensively both in the U. S. and abroad on problems associated with the human foot. Dr. Scheffler is a past President, Health Care & Education of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Diabetes Association.

About myself:

            “My wife, Eleanor, teaches Family & Consumer Science.  We are proud of our two daughters, Darcie, a pediatric occupational therapist, who lives in Arlington, VA., and Kara, a physical therapist living in Boston, MA. We have traveled extensively, often with the Academy of International Medical Studies.  I am a member and past President of the Baltimore Chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
